Ingredients
  

Fresh Fruit
  • 2 cups strawberries, sliced
  • 2 cups peaches, sliced
Oat Topping
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the strawberries and peaches.
  3. In another bowl, mix together the oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
  4. Pour the melted butter into the oat mixture and stir until combined.
  5. Layer the fruit mixture in a baking dish and sprinkle the oat topping over the fruit.
Baking
  1. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden and the fruit is bubbling.
  2. Serve warm.

Notes

This crisp is best served warm. Enjoy it as is or with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. Whipped cream also makes a nice touch.
