Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a baking dish.
- Layer half of the Oreo cookies in the bottom of the dish.
- In a bowl, combine the cake mix, melted butter, and milk until well mixed.
- Pour the batter over the layer of Oreos in the baking dish.
- Crush the remaining Oreo cookies and sprinkle them on top of the batter.
Baking
- Bake for about 30-35 minutes, or until the top is set and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let it cool slightly before serving.
Serving
- Cut the cake into squares and serve warm or at room temperature.
- Add a scoop of ice cream or a dollop of whipped topping for extra creaminess.
Notes
For crisper cookie bits, crush Oreos by hand or pulse lightly in a bag. If the top browns too fast, cover loosely with foil for the last 10 minutes. Store cooled cake wrapped or in an airtight container.
