Preparation
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat and transfer to a crockpot.
- Add chopped onion, garlic, and sliced mushrooms to the crockpot with the beef.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, salt, and pepper. Pour over the beef and veggies in the crockpot.
Cooking
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- In the last 30 minutes of cooking, mix sour cream and flour in a small bowl until smooth, then stir into the crockpot.
- Cook egg noodles according to package instructions.
- Serve the beef stroganoff over the cooked egg noodles.
Notes
For extra flavor, you can add a splash of white wine when cooking. Make sure to brown the beef well for a richer taste. Feel free to add other vegetables like bell peppers or peas for added nutrition. If you prefer a thicker sauce, increase the amount of flour you add at the end.
