  • 8 oz spaghetti Cook according to package directions.
  • 1 lb ground beef Can substitute with ground turkey or a meat alternative.
  • 1 packets taco seasoning Add according to taste.
  • 1 cup salsa Choose your favorite salsa.
  • 1 cup shredded cheese Use cheddar or Mexican blend.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil For cooking the beef.
  • to taste Salt and pepper For seasoning.
  • as needed Chopped cilantro or green onions For garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cook spaghetti according to package directions until al dente, then drain.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef, seasoning with salt and pepper, and cook until browned.
  3. Stir in taco seasoning and salsa, allowing to simmer for 3-5 minutes.
  4. Add the cooked spaghetti to the beef mixture, tossing to combine.
  5. Stir in the shredded cheese until melted and evenly distributed.
  6. Serve warm, garnished with chopped cilantro or green onions.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the microwave or on the stovetop, adding a splash of water or salsa if needed.
