  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a medium bowl, combine the sliced strawberries and chopped jalapeños.
  2. In a small saucepan, mix together sugar, apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  3. Heat over medium heat until the sugar dissolves, stirring occasionally.
  4. Pour the mixture over the strawberries and jalapeños, gently stirring to combine.
  5. Allow the condiment to cool and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to let the flavors meld.
