Preparation and Baking
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut it into squares.
- In a bowl, mix together the cream cheese, powdered sugar, chopped strawberries, and strawberry jam until well combined.
- Place a spoonful of the strawberry cheesecake mixture in the center of each puff pastry square.
- Fold the pastry over to form a triangle and seal the edges with a fork.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
These turnovers taste great when served warm. For an even sweeter treat, try serving them with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for a few days. To reheat, pop them in the oven at a low temperature until warmed through.
