  • 1 pound ground beef (or ground turkey) Use lean beef or turkey for a healthier option.
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 3 pieces green onions, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger, minced
Sauce
  • 1 cup teriyaki sauce (homemade or store-bought) Adjust the teriyaki sauce to taste.
Serving

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, mix the ground beef, bread crumbs, milk, egg, green onions, garlic powder, and ginger until well combined.
  2. Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
Cooking
  1. Place the meatballs in the slow cooker.
  2. Pour the teriyaki sauce over the meatballs, ensuring they are well coated.
  3. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the meatballs are cooked through and tender.
Serving
  1. Serve the teriyaki meatballs over rice or noodles, or with toothpicks as appetizers.

Notes

These meatballs can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. To reheat, place them in the microwave until warm. For variations, try adding chopped bell peppers or using different sauces like BBQ.
