  • 2 pounds meat (your choice) Choose your favorite meat for a personalized flavor.
  • 1 cup broth Try using different types of broth, like chicken or vegetable.
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 3 cups vegetables (carrots, potatoes, etc.) Carrots, potatoes, and green beans are great choices.
  • 1 tablespoon herbs (like thyme or rosemary) Use fresh herbs for best taste.

Preparation
  1. Place the meat at the bottom of the slow cooker.
  2. Add the broth, salt, and pepper on top of the meat.
  3. Layer the vegetables over the meat and broth.
  4. Sprinkle the herbs over the top.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  6. Once done, shred the meat and mix everything before serving.

Notes

For a hearty meal, serve the dish with rice or hearty bread. Don't lift the lid often, as it lets heat out and slows cooking.
