Preparation
- Place the meat at the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Add the broth, salt, and pepper on top of the meat.
- Layer the vegetables over the meat and broth.
- Sprinkle the herbs over the top.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- Once done, shred the meat and mix everything before serving.
Notes
For a hearty meal, serve the dish with rice or hearty bread. Don't lift the lid often, as it lets heat out and slows cooking.
