  • 1/2 cup honey Adjust sweetness to taste.
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon corn starch
  • 1 tablespoon water For making the slurry.
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix the honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic.
  3. Pour the mixture over the chicken in the slow cooker.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  5. Once cooked, remove the chicken and set it aside.
  6. Mix corn starch and water in a small bowl to create a slurry.
  7. Pour the slurry into the sauce in the slow cooker and stir until thickened.
  8. Serve the chicken with the sauce poured over it.

Notes

This chicken pairs well with steamed rice, quinoa, or roasted vegetables. Garnish with chopped green onions for added flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
