Preparation
- Place the meat at the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Add chopped vegetables on top of the meat.
- Pour the diced tomatoes and broth over the ingredients.
- Season with your chosen spices.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
Serving
- Serve this dinner hot right from the slow cooker.
- It goes well with rice or bread.
- You can also sprinkle some cheese on top for extra flavor.
Notes
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge. Reheat it in the microwave or on the stove. Add a little water if it seems dry. Tips include using fresh vegetables, trying different seasonings, cutting meat and vegetables into even sizes, and avoiding opening the slow cooker while cooking.
