  • 1 pound ground beef Browned and drained
  • 4 large potatoes, diced
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese Added before serving
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a skillet, brown the ground beef and drain excess fat.
  2. In a slow cooker, combine the browned beef, diced potatoes, chopped onion, cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Stir to combine.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 4 hours, until the potatoes are tender.
  4. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese just before serving and let it melt.

Notes

Serve with a side salad for freshness, or add bread for a complete meal. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge or freeze for longer storage. Brown beef well for better flavor.
