Preparation
- In a mixing bowl, combine the self-raising flour, cocoa powder, and brown sugar.
- In another bowl, whisk together milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Pour the mixture into a greased slow cooker.
- In a separate bowl, mix the remaining cocoa powder and white sugar, then sprinkle it over the pudding mixture.
- Carefully pour boiling water over the top of the pudding mixture (do not stir).
Cooking
- Cover and cook on high for 2-3 hours or until set.
Notes
For best taste, serve warm. To store, let cool and then keep in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the microwave or slow cooker. Ensure to grease the slow cooker well to avoid sticking.
