Ingredients
  

Pudding mixture
  • 1 cup self-raising flour
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup milk Can use any type of milk
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Sauce ingredients
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder For the sauce
  • 1 cup boiling water

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the self-raising flour, cocoa powder, and brown sugar.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased slow cooker.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix the remaining cocoa powder and white sugar, then sprinkle it over the pudding mixture.
  6. Carefully pour boiling water over the top of the pudding mixture (do not stir).
Cooking
  1. Cover and cook on high for 2-3 hours or until set.

Notes

For best taste, serve warm. To store, let cool and then keep in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the microwave or slow cooker. Ensure to grease the slow cooker well to avoid sticking.
