  • 1/2 cup 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup 1/2 cup butter, melted Use unsalted butter.
  • 1 large 1 egg
  • 1 tsp 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp 1/2 tsp salt
Toppings
  • 1 cup 1 cup shredded coconut For extra crunch, toast the coconut before using.
  • 1 cup 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 cup 1 cup chocolate chips Use high-quality chocolate for better flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until combined.
  3. Stir in flour and salt until a cookie dough forms.
  4. Press dough into the bottom of the prepared pie crust evenly.
Baking
  1. Bake for 15-20 minutes until lightly golden.
  2. Remove from oven and let cool for 10 minutes.
  3. Drizzle caramel sauce over the pie, then sprinkle shredded coconut and chocolate chips on top.
  4. Bake for an additional 10 minutes.
  5. Let cool completely before slicing and serving.

Notes

Slice the pie into wedges and serve it warm or at room temperature. For extra delight, add a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat slices in the microwave for a few seconds before enjoying.
