Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
Making the Sauce
  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the heavy cream, red pepper flakes, and garlic powder to the skillet, stirring to combine.
  3. Gradually add the pepper jack cheese and Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and smooth.
Combining
  1. Add the cooked penne to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
  2. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serving
  1. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days. Reheat gently in the microwave or on the stove, adding a splash of cream if needed to loosen the sauce.
