Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Pour the crushed pineapple (with juice) into a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the pineapple.
- Slice the butter and place the slices evenly on top of the cake mix.
- If using, add cherries on top.
Baking
- Bake for approximately 30-40 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
Serving
- Serve warm with a scoop of ice cream.
Notes
Best served warm. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Reheat in the microwave or oven as needed. Can make ahead of time.
