Ingredients
  

Dough and Fillings
  • 1 can 8 oz refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 24 slices pepperoni
  • 4 sticks mozzarella string cheese (cut in half lengthwise)
Seasonings and Optional Toppings
  • 2 tablespoons pizza sauce (optional, for rolling)
  • 1 tablespoon butter (melted)
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for topping)
  • Extra pizza or marinara sauce (for dipping)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Separate the crescent roll dough into 8 triangles along the perforated lines.
  3. Optional: Spread a small amount (about ½ tsp) of pizza sauce over each triangle.
  4. Layer 3 slices of pepperoni on the wide end of each triangle.
  5. Place one half of a string cheese stick on top of the pepperoni.
  6. Roll up the crescent dough from the wide end toward the point, encasing the filling.
  7. Place seam-side down on the baking sheet and brush the tops with melted butter.
  8. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and grated Parmesan if using.
Baking
  1. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
Serving
  1. Serve warm with pizza or marinara sauce on the side for dipping.

Notes

Store any leftover rolls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 5-10 minutes until warmed through. Experiment with different cheeses and add chopped vegetables for variety.
