Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, combine the peanut butter, sugar, and egg. Stir until smooth and well combined.
Shaping and Baking
- Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on the baking sheet.
- Use a fork to gently press down on each ball, flattening them slightly to create a criss-cross pattern.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, until the edges are golden, but the centers are still soft.
- Let them cool for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
Add chocolate chips for extra indulgence, or use crunchy peanut butter for added texture. Sprinkle sea salt on top for a sweet-salty twist. Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days, or freeze the dough for up to 3 months.
