  • 4 pieces ripe peaches, pitted and chopped Use ripe peaches for the best flavor and sweetness.
  • 1/2 cup sugar Adjust the sugar based on your taste.
  • 1/2 cup water Used to make the sugar syrup.
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice Can substitute with lime juice for a zesty flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a saucepan, combine sugar and water. Heat over medium heat, stirring until sugar is dissolved.
  2. Allow to cool.
  3. In a blender, combine the chopped peaches, cooled sugar syrup, and lemon juice. Blend until smooth.
Freezing
  1. Pour the mixture into a freezer-safe container and freeze for about 4-6 hours, or until solid.
  2. Before serving, let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes to soften.

Notes

Store your peach sorbet in an airtight container in the freezer for about 1-2 weeks. If you're serving it later, remember to let it sit out for a few minutes before scooping.
