  • 1 box 15.25 oz yellow cake mix This is the base for the cake.
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter, melted For drizzling over the cake mix.
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon (optional) Adds warmth and flavor.
  • 0.5 tsp vanilla extract (optional) Enhances the cake flavor.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Drain the peaches (reserve ¼ cup of juice if you like extra moisture) and spread them evenly in the baking dish.
  3. Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the peaches. Do not stir!
  4. Drizzle melted butter over the cake mix, ensuring even coverage.
  5. Sprinkle cinnamon (if using) for extra warmth.
Baking
  1. Bake for 40–45 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  2. Let it cool slightly before serving with whipped cream or ice cream.

Notes

Add nuts like pecans or walnuts for crunch, use white cake mix for a lighter flavor, or make it boozy by adding a splash of bourbon to the peaches. You can also substitute other fruits like cherries or pineapple for a twist.
