  • 8 cookies 8 Oreo cookies
  • 2 cups 2 cups vanilla ice cream Use full-fat for a creamier texture.
  • 1 cup 1 cup whole milk Can substitute with low-fat for a thinner shake.
  • 1/2 teaspoon 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract Optional for extra flavor.
  • to taste Whipped cream and chocolate syrup, for topping For garnishing.
  • optional cookies extra Oreo cookies for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Place the Oreo cookies into a thick freezer bag and gently pound with a rolling pin until crushed.
  2. Add the milk to a blender, followed by the ice cream and Oreo crumbs.
  3. Pulse a few times, then blend until smooth. Add the vanilla if using.
  4. Adjust the shake with more milk if needed.
  5. Pour the milkshake into two glasses.
  6. Top with whipped cream, drizzle chocolate syrup over the whipped cream, and add a whole Oreo for garnish.
  7. Serve immediately with a straw and a spoon. Enjoy!

Notes

For a warm-weather twist, try blending in a scoop of coffee ice cream for a mocha taste. Chill the glass in the freezer for 10 minutes before serving for an extra cold shake.
