No Yeast 3 Ingredient Bread
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt (if using).
- Pour the yogurt into the dry ingredients and stir with a wooden spoon or spatula until a shaggy dough forms. If the dough is too sticky, add 1-2 tablespoons more flour.
- Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead gently for about 1 minute, just until it comes together. Avoid overworking the dough.
- Form the dough into a round or oval loaf and place it on the prepared baking sheet. Use a sharp knife to score the top (about ½-inch deep).
- Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped.
- Let the bread cool on a wire rack for at least 10 minutes before slicing.
3 Ingredient Flatbread
- In a bowl, combine the flour and salt. Add the yogurt and mix until a soft dough forms. If it’s too sticky, add 1-2 tablespoons more flour.
- Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead for 1-2 minutes until smooth.
- Split the dough into 6 equal pieces and roll each into a ball.
- On a floured surface, roll each ball into a thin circle (about ⅛-inch thick).
- Heat a skillet or griddle over medium-high heat. Cook each flatbread for 1-2 minutes per side until puffed and golden brown.
- Keep the cooked flatbreads wrapped in a clean towel to stay soft.
3 Ingredient Irish Soda Bread
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Lightly flour a baking sheet or line it with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Make a well in the center and pour in the buttermilk. Stir with a wooden spoon until a sticky dough forms.
- Turn the dough onto a floured surface and gently shape it into a round loaf (about 6 inches wide).
- Use a sharp knife to cut a deep 'X' into the top of the loaf.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the bread sounds hollow when tapped.
- Let the bread cool on a wire rack for at least 20 minutes before slicing.
