Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a saucepan, combine rice and water or broth, bring to a boil, cover, and reduce heat to low. Cook until rice is fluffy.
- In a bowl, mix ground meat, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Form into meatballs.
- In a skillet, cook meatballs over medium heat until browned on all sides.
- In a separate bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and sesame oil.
Baking
- Combine cooked rice, meatballs, and honey glaze in a baking dish.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until heated through and bubbly.
- Garnish with green onions before serving.
Notes
Let the bake cool to room temperature. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) until hot.
