  • 1 lb ground turkey Lean turkey for a healthier option
  • 1 tablespoon taco seasoning Use low-sodium for less salt
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup bell peppers, diced
  • 1 cup corn Canned or frozen, well drained
  • 1 cup black beans, rinsed and drained Canned for convenience
  • 1 avocado, diced Add just before serving for freshness
  • 1 cup lettuce, shredded Serves as a base for the bowl

Method
 

Cooking Turkey
  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the ground turkey and cook until browned, about 5–7 minutes.
  3. Stir in the taco seasoning and cook for another 2 minutes.
Assembling the Bowl
  1. In a large bowl, mix the cooked turkey with cherry tomatoes, bell peppers, corn, and black beans.
  2. Serve over shredded lettuce and top with diced avocado.
  3. Add sour cream, salsa, and cheese if desired.

Notes

Cool cooked turkey before storing. Keep avocado and lettuce separate for freshness. Reheat turkey before serving.
