Preparation
- In a food processor, blend the pitted dates and peanut butter until smooth.
- Stir in the crushed pretzels until well mixed.
- Press the mixture into a lined baking pan, flattening it evenly.
Melting Chocolate
- Melt the dark chocolate chips with coconut oil in a microwave or double boiler.
- Pour the melted chocolate over the date mixture and spread evenly.
Setting
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour until set.
- Cut into bars and serve.
Notes
Store bars in an airtight container in the fridge. They will stay fresh for up to a week. You can freeze them for longer storage, just thaw before serving. Sprinkle sea salt on top for a sweet and salty combo.
