Ingredients
  

For the grilled shrimp and asparagus
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined Make sure they are fresh or properly thawed for the best flavor.
  • 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed You can swap with arugula or spinach for a different green.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
For the creamy garlic sauce
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced Sauté until fragrant.
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a bowl, toss shrimp with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Cooking
  1. Place asparagus on the grill and cook for about 5 minutes, turning occasionally until tender.
  2. Grill the shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink.
  3. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  4. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, simmer until thickened.
Serving
  1. Serve grilled shrimp and asparagus in a bowl, drizzle with creamy garlic sauce and garnish with parsley.

Notes

This dish is best served hot. Pair it with rice or quinoa for added texture. Drizzle extra creamy garlic sauce on top for more flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
