Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, melt the butter and mix in the sugar until smooth.
  3. Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Stir in the cocoa powder, vanilla, flour, and salt until combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the greased pan and spread it evenly.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let the brownies cool before adding the frosting.
