  • 1 can 12 oz evaporated milk
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp cloves
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup chopped pecans (optional) Use walnuts if preferred.
  • 1/2 cup melted butter

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, whisk together pumpkin, evaporated milk, eggs, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.
  2. Pour the pumpkin mixture into the crock pot.
  3. Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly on top, followed by pecans if using.
  4. Drizzle melted butter over the cake mix.
Cooking
  1. Cover and cook on HIGH for 2-3 hours or until the edges are set and the center is slightly jiggly.
  2. Scoop out portions and top with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream before serving.
