Preparation

Making the Batter

- Gradually add buttermilk and melted butter, and mix until just combined.
- Pour the batter over the apples, spreading it evenly.
Baking
- Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the top is golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let it cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Serve warm, topped with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, or a sprinkle of cinnamon. Store leftover cobbler in the refrigerator for up to three days.
