Preparation
- Place chicken breasts in the crock pot.
- Sprinkle ranch dressing mix over the chicken.
- Cut cream cheese into chunks and add it on top.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is cooked through.
- Shred the chicken with two forks and stir in the cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon.
- Serve warm over rice or in a lettuce wrap, garnished with chopped green onions.
Notes
For longer storage, freeze in a freezer-safe container for up to 3 months. Thaw in the fridge before reheating. This dish can also be made in an Instant Pot.
