  • 2 15 oz cans peach slices in juice (or 4 cups fresh peaches, sliced) If using fresh peaches, toss with 1 tbsp lemon juice to prevent browning.
  • 1 15.25 oz box yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted This is essential for the crispy topping.
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon (optional) For added flavor.
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional) For added crunch.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Drain the peaches (reserve 1/4 cup juice if using canned) and spread them evenly in the baking dish.
  3. Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the peaches. Do not stir.
  4. Drizzle melted butter over the cake mix, ensuring even coverage.
  5. Sprinkle cinnamon and nuts (if using) on top.
Baking
  1. Bake for 35–40 minutes until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
  2. Let it cool for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

Best served warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
