Preparation
- In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Gently fold in the chopped strawberries.
- Place a teaspoon of the strawberry cheesecake mixture in the center of each wonton wrapper.
- Wet the edges of the wonton with water and fold diagonally to form a triangle, sealing the edges tightly.
Cooking
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry wonton bites in batches until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
These bites are best served warm. For added fun, provide chocolate sauce or caramel for dipping. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator and consume within 2 days.
