- Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot.
- Sprinkle the Cajun seasoning over the chicken and add the cubed butter.
- Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream, then cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- About 30 minutes before serving, mix cornstarch with cold water and add to the crockpot.
- Add the uncooked rice and stir everything together.
- Cover and let it cook until the rice is tender, around 20-25 minutes.
- Before serving, sprinkle with fresh parsley and season with black pepper and paprika flakes.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the microwave or stovetop, adding broth if the sauce thickens. Consider adding diced bell peppers or onions for more texture and flavor.
