Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 4 cups fresh or frozen corn kernels (about 4–5 ears of corn) Use fresh corn when in season for the best flavor.
  • 1 cup heavy cream (or half-and-half for a lighter version) For a dairy-free option, substitute with coconut milk or cashew cream.
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter Use unsalted to control the flavor.
Seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper To taste. Recommended for flavor enhancement.

Method

Preparation
  1. If using fresh corn, cut the kernels off the cob. If using frozen, thaw slightly.
Cooking
  1. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the corn and sauté for 3–4 minutes until slightly tender.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream, stirring well to combine. Let it simmer for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mixture thickens.
Serving
  1. Add salt and pepper to taste. For extra richness, stir in an extra pat of butter before serving.

Notes

For variations, consider adding shredded cheese, cayenne for a kick, or fresh herbs for added flavor. Can be served as a side to grilled chicken, roasted turkey, or as a topping for baked potatoes.
