Ingredients
  

For the classic cinnamon roll dump cake
  • 2 cans 12.4 oz each refrigerated cinnamon rolls (with icing) Use the icing for drizzling on top.
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk Whole or 2% milk recommended.
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans Optional for added crunch.
  • 1/4 cup melted butter For drizzling over the top.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cut the cinnamon rolls into bite-sized pieces and spread them evenly in the dish.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla, maple syrup, and cinnamon. Pour this mixture over the cinnamon rolls.
  4. Drizzle melted butter over the top and sprinkle with pecans if using.
Baking
  1. Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden and set.
  2. Let it cool slightly before drizzling the icing from the cinnamon roll packages.
Serving
  1. Serve warm and enjoy your easy breakfast dump cake with a cup of coffee.

Notes

For an extra gooey texture, add a layer of cream cheese cubes before baking.
