  • 8 oz chow mein noodles
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
Vegetables and Seasoning
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (bell peppers, carrots, broccoli, etc.)
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Preparation
  1. Cook chow mein noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
Cooking
  1. Add minced garlic and ginger, stir-frying for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  2. Add mixed vegetables and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until crisp-tender.
  3. Add the cooked noodles to the skillet, pour in soy sauce, and toss everything together until well combined and heated through.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.

Notes

Use fresh vegetables for the best flavor and texture. Add protein like chicken, beef, or tofu for a heartier meal. Experiment with sauces like oyster sauce or sesame oil for different tastes. Be cautious not to overcook the noodles; they should remain al dente. To store leftovers, place in an airtight container and refrigerate for up to three days.
