Preparation for Classic Chicken & Vegetable Stir Fry
- Prepare the sauce: In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, and sesame oil to create the 3 ingredient stir fry sauce.
- Cook the chicken: Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until no longer pink (5-6 minutes). Remove and set aside.
- Stir fry the veggies: In the same pan, add garlic and ginger, sautéing for 30 seconds. Toss in the vegetables and stir fry for 3-4 minutes until crisp-tender.
- Combine & sauce it up: Return the chicken to the pan, pour in the quick stir fry sauce, and toss everything together. Cook for another 2 minutes.
- Serve hot: Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
Preparation for Spicy Tofu & Broccoli Stir Fry
- Make the sauce: Combine soy sauce, honey, and sriracha for a spicy twist on the 3 ingredient stir fry sauce.
- Cook the tofu: Heat oil in a pan, add tofu, and cook until golden (5-6 minutes). Remove and set aside.
- Stir fry broccoli: In the same pan, sauté garlic, then add broccoli and cook for 3-4 minutes.
- Combine & sauce: Return tofu to the pan, pour in the quick stir fry sauce, and toss well.
- Serve: Garnish with extra sriracha if desired.
Notes
Swap chicken for tofu, shrimp, or beef. Add a splash of lime juice for extra brightness. For a spicy kick, include red pepper flakes or sriracha. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat in a skillet or microwave.
