  • 2 tablespoons butter For frying.
  • powdered sugar powdered sugar For sprinkling before serving.

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut cinnamon rolls into bite-size pieces.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and maple syrup.
  4. Dip the cinnamon roll pieces into the egg mixture until fully coated.
Cooking
  1. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Place the coated cinnamon roll bites in the skillet and cook until golden brown on all sides.
  3. Transfer to a baking dish and bake for about 10-15 minutes.
  4. Drizzle with maple syrup and sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, add cinnamon directly into the egg mixture. Make sure the skillet is hot enough for a good sear on the bites. Experiment with various toppings, such as nuts or chocolate chips. Store leftover bites in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days. Reheat in the oven or microwave before serving.
