Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a small bowl, mix together 1/2 cup sugar and 4 Tbsp cinnamon; set aside.
- Beat cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth.
- Add 1/2 cup sugar, egg, and vanilla; mix until creamy.
- Spray a 9×13-inch baking pan with non-stick spray and sprinkle half of the cinnamon sugar mixture at the bottom.
Assembly
- Unroll one can of crescent dough onto waxed paper, press seams together, and lay it over the cinnamon sugar in the pan.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough.
- Unroll the second can of dough similarly and place it on top of the filling.
- Sprinkle remaining cinnamon sugar on top.
Baking
- Bake for about 30 minutes or until golden brown.
Notes
These bars can be served warm or at room temperature. Consider topping them with whipped cream or ice cream for a special treat. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
