Ingredients
  

Cake Base
  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 1 box chocolate pudding mix
  • 2 cups milk Can substitute with almond milk or soy milk.
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs Ensure they are at room temperature.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Topping
  • 1 cup chocolate chips Feel free to use dark, white, or different flavored chocolate chips.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, chocolate pudding mix, milk, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  3. Mix until well combined and smooth.
  4. Pour the batter into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top of the batter.
Baking
  1. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  2. Let it cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve warm with a scoop of ice cream or drizzled chocolate sauce. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. Reheat in the microwave if needed.
