  • 1 cup almond milk Can substitute with any milk of choice.
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder Unsweetened cocoa powder preferred.
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup Optional for added sweetness.
For Toppings
  • as desired fresh strawberries Sliced for topping.
  • as desired chocolate chips Use dark or milk chocolate chips.
  • as desired granola For added crunch.
  • as desired nuts Chopped nuts of your choice.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a blender, combine frozen strawberries, banana, almond milk, cocoa powder, and honey or maple syrup.
  2. Blend until smooth.
Serving
  1. Pour the smoothie into a bowl.
  2. Top with fresh strawberries, chocolate chips, granola, and nuts as desired.
  3. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

For extra crunch, add more granola or drizzle some honey on top. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 24 hours, but best enjoyed fresh.
