  • 1/4 cup chia seeds
  • 2 cups almond milk (or any milk of choice) Can use any preferred milk.
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup (or sweetener of choice) Other sweeteners can also be used.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • pinch salt

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine chia seeds, almond milk, cocoa powder, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt.
  2. Whisk the mixture until well combined.
  3. Let it sit for about 5 minutes, then whisk again to prevent clumping.
  4. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight until it thickens to a pudding-like consistency.
Serving
  1. Serve chilled and enjoy, optionally topped with fruits, nuts, or granola.

Notes

Store leftover chocolate chia pudding in the fridge in a sealed container for up to 5 days. No need to reheat; just enjoy it cold!
