Preparation
- In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger. Set aside.
- Season chicken pieces with salt and pepper, then coat with cornstarch.
Cooking
- Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken pieces and fry until golden and cooked through.
- Pour the honey garlic mixture over the chicken and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
Serving
- Serve warm, garnished with green onions if desired.
Notes
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. To reheat, simply warm it in a skillet over low heat until heated through. Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less honey to the sauce. Use fresh garlic and ginger for the best flavor.
