  • 4 pieces Chicken breasts
  • 4 oz Cream cheese Softened for easy spreading
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese Shredded
  • 8 slices Bacon Thin bacon for even cooking
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Pepper
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Spread cream cheese and sprinkle cheddar cheese on top of each chicken breast.
  4. Wrap each chicken breast with bacon, securing with toothpicks if necessary.
  5. Place wrapped chicken on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and bacon is crispy.
  6. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Pat the chicken dry before seasoning so the cheese sticks well. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. To reheat, warm in the oven at 350°F (175°C) until heated through. Do not leave cooked chicken at room temperature for more than two hours.
