  • 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt
Wet Ingredients
  • ¾ cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 ½ tsp vanilla extract
Mix-ins
  • ½ cup dark chocolate chips
  • ½ cup mocha chips
  • ½ cup dried cherries (chopped)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Beat the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy.
  4. Mix in the egg and vanilla extract until smooth.
  5. Slowly stir in the flour mixture, mixing until well blended.
  6. Fold in the dark chocolate chips, mocha chips, and chopped dried cherries until evenly distributed.
  7. Drop tablespoon-sized dough balls onto the prepared baking sheet.
Baking
  1. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the edges turn golden brown.
  2. Let cool on a wire rack, then enjoy immediately.

Notes

Store these cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. They can also be frozen for a few months.
