  • 2 cups pasta (like elbow macaroni) Cooked al dente
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese Feel free to mix different cheeses
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup Can use alternative cream soups
  • 1 cup milk Use whole or low-fat milk
  • to taste Salt and pepper Adjust according to preference
  • Optional: diced tomatoes or bell peppers For added flavor and nutrition

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef and onion over medium heat until the meat is browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the cooked ground beef mixture, pasta, cheese, cream of mushroom soup, milk, and seasonings. Mix well.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until bubbly and golden on top.
  2. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes
