  • 1 whole ripe avocado, diced Choose a ripe avocado for the best flavor.
  • 1 cup strawberries, hulled and diced
  • 1 whole ripe mango, diced Ripe mango ensures sweetness.
  • 1 small jalapeño, finely chopped, seeds removed For less heat, remove seeds.
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 whole lime, juiced Juice can help prevent browning.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine diced avocado, strawberries, mango, jalapeño, red onion, and cilantro.
  2. Squeeze fresh lime juice over the mixture and season with salt to taste.
  3. Gently toss to combine.
  4. Serve immediately with chips, or use as a topping for salads, tacos, fish, or chicken.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator, but the salsa may brown quickly. Add lime juice to slow browning if needed.
