  • 4 Banana peppers Sliced in half and seeds removed
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil For drizzling
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper

  • 1 cup Cheese Choose your favorite type
  • 1 cup Ground meat or meat alternative Optional filling

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the banana peppers in half lengthwise and remove the seeds.
  3. Drizzle olive oil over the peppers and season with salt and pepper.
  4. If using, fill the peppers with cheese and/or ground meat.
  5. Place the stuffed peppers in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
Cooking
  1. Cook for 10-12 minutes, or until the peppers are tender and the filling is cooked through.
  2. Serve warm.

Notes

Make sure to remove all the seeds for less heat. Try different types of cheese for fun flavors. Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket for even cooking. Adjust the cooking time based on your air fryer model. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. To reheat, pop them back in the air fryer for a few minutes until warm.
