Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone mats.
- Unwrap all Hershey's Kisses and set them aside.
Mixing and Shaping
- In a medium bowl, combine the peanut butter, sugar, and egg. Mix thoroughly until the dough is smooth.
- Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place them 2 inches apart on baking sheets.
- If desired, create a crosshatch pattern on top using a fork.
Baking
- Bake for 8-10 minutes until the edges are set but the centers look slightly underdone.
- Immediately after removing from the oven, press one unwrapped Hershey's Kiss into the center of each cookie.
Cooling
- Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack until completely cooled.
Notes
Roll dough balls in cocoa powder for a chocolate twist. Use crunchy peanut butter for texture. Ensure Kisses are added immediately after baking.
