Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter (not natural or reduced-fat) Use regular creamy peanut butter like Jif or Skippy.
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 24-30 pieces Hershey's Kisses, unwrapped Have Kisses unwrapped and ready for immediate use.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone mats.
  2. Unwrap all Hershey's Kisses and set them aside.
Mixing and Shaping
  1. In a medium bowl, combine the peanut butter, sugar, and egg. Mix thoroughly until the dough is smooth.
  2. Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place them 2 inches apart on baking sheets.
  3. If desired, create a crosshatch pattern on top using a fork.
Baking
  1. Bake for 8-10 minutes until the edges are set but the centers look slightly underdone.
  2. Immediately after removing from the oven, press one unwrapped Hershey's Kiss into the center of each cookie.
Cooling
  1. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack until completely cooled.

Notes

Roll dough balls in cocoa powder for a chocolate twist. Use crunchy peanut butter for texture. Ensure Kisses are added immediately after baking.
