Preparation
- Crush the Oreos: Place the entire package of Oreos (filling included) in a food processor and pulse until they turn into fine crumbs. If you don’t have a food processor, place them in a ziplock bag and crush them with a rolling pin.
- Mix with Cream Cheese: In a large bowl, combine the Oreo crumbs with the softened cream cheese. Use a hand mixer or spatula to mix until fully incorporated.
- Roll into Balls: Scoop about 1 tablespoon of the mixture and roll it into a ball. Place each truffle on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Chill the Truffles: Refrigerate the truffles for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
- Melt the Chocolate: While the truffles chill, melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval until smooth.
- Dip the Truffles: Using a fork, dip each truffle into the melted chocolate, ensuring it’s fully coated. Tap off any excess chocolate and place them back on the parchment paper.
- Set the Chocolate: Let the truffles sit at room temperature for about 10 minutes, then refrigerate for another 15 minutes to set.
- Serve and Enjoy: Once set, enjoy your delicious Oreo truffles!
