Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mash the bananas in a bowl until smooth.
- Add the oats to the mashed bananas and stir until well combined. Fold in any add-ins.
- Let the mixture sit for about 5 minutes.
Baking
- Scoop the dough onto the prepared baking sheet. Flatten each cookie slightly.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
- Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
To enhance flavor, add a teaspoon of cinnamon or vanilla extract. For a crunchy texture, bake for an extra 2-3 minutes. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days at room temperature, up to a week in the fridge, or freeze for up to 3 months.
